And I am off. Currently my parents and I are heading up to Amicalola Falls State Park to meet up with Will am his dad. Will and I will check in at the ranger station and weigh our bags. I am going to guess mine is going to be 42. That is heavier than I want/need it to be. After checking in, we will get a ride with our parents to a fire service road. The road will put us 1 mile out from the summit of Springer. We will backtrack to the summit in order to not have to hike the 8 mile approach trail from the ranger station. Maybe I will do that when I finish.
I have updated the amount of money pledged. Thanks again to those who have pledged. We are over 10% of the way there. You will just have to leave it up to me to hike the miles now.
